nothing extra-ordinary

This year's sem break is boring. I do the same routine everyday: Wake up, eat breakfast, watch tv, eat lunch, take a shower, go out with mom to Cabuyao, Laguna, then go home using dad's car. I can feel the calories starting to add up to a pound. Oh no. (Fact! I already lost about 60 pounds since last sem break.) haha
Well, at least I found one thing worth doing. Last night I decided to read the Bible daily. I made a comittment to read 10 verses each day. I started reading Philippians 1 last night, and I tell you, it really made me feel great. I know I should have started reading the Bible years before. It is a shame to admit, but I grew up in a Christian family and church ( and yet I haven't finished reading all the 66 books of the Bible).
I realized all these things when I finished reading "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown. I borrowed it from s churchmate, Ate Joyce, who used it for a book report in school. I have heard things about the book before I got hold of it, and mostly those comments were negative. Imagine a secret society hailing Mary Magdalene because they believe that she's the wife of Jesus Christ! It was a shock. Dan Brown was a great writer, no doubt. The book was a page turner (I finished reading it in 5 days (for 3 hrs each day)). But the ideas in it are just unbelievable and absurd.
I would really like to say a few more things, but my time's running out. (I'm in Cabuyao, Laguna right now, and my parents might be already waiting for me)
Bye for now!
