To rate what happened last night in a scale of 1-10, I am giving it an 8.
I had a great time. Hmm.. yet I feel so incomplete. I can’t tell you all why, because this blog is public and that SOMEBODY might read my secret.
The plan was to get a breath of air at Intramuros. Yet, what happened was that we didn’t go straight to the place. Pastor del Rosario didn’t know exactly where Intramuros was at first, so he drove us to Roxas Blvd (the place near Manila Bay where there are lights, restaurants, and bands). The place was cool (cool, as in malamig).Wahaha. Kakainis nga eh. While watching one band perform, I was actually singing with the vocalist. What I didn’t know was that Valentino was taping the whole thing. Waah! Now they’d know how different I look when I sing. Wehehe with all emotions and hand swings pa un. Huhuhu How embarrassing. [Cute kaya ako dun? Wehehe]
After spending less than an hour there, we decided to head for Intramuros. The place was just 5 minutes away from the baywalk. Haha lapit lang pala noh
We walked and walked and walked and walked all night hehe. [And I liked it, because its good exercise. Calorie-burning!] I bought a small pink wallet with a strawberry patch for PhP 100. Yehey! [I guess I can’t stand a day without buying something new for myself. Wow. How selfish of me.] What I saw in that visit to Intramuros were not new, because I’ve been in there with my family and some friends a year ago. [This is the dramatic part] But what made the feeling unique was that I spent the night with my new friends in our new church. Having such people who share the same beliefs is enough to make me feel that I have something to be proud of my faith. I am also grateful to our pastor and his wife, who had always been there on our [youth] side (yes, literally. They are always present wherever we go. hehe). Of course, without them, we wouldn’t even be allowed to go with the others to Intramuros. Hehe
